First Attempt on Glass

Hey! This is looking good to me. A couple of suggestions would be:

  1. Consider your composition. Centered with a lot of negative space is not doing this image any favors. And I’d probably move the glass on the left a bit further away from the decanter.
  2. The entire image is quite dark. I’d suggest pushing your values a bit more.
  3. Can you add some context? Maybe a surface and a backdrop so the objects aren’t floating in a solid color?

Materials look good from what I can see, but I think composition and lighting can be improved a bit. I hope you find it helpful and I’d like to see a version 2 of this image!

Hi, I did a revised render as per your guidance. Please give your feedback.
I dont know why black in 2 glass base and top of the ground is seen.
I increase the ground plane size also but no effect

Cool! I think that’s better. Do you have enough ray bounces? I’d suggest at least 12, (can be found under lighting tab). Also, make sure global illumination is enabled.

Also, try making sure the glasses do not intersect with the ground plane. You can use the move tool and try to move them up off the ground to see if black goes away. Then, you can use snap to ground and it should place them back on the ground.

Does that work?

Thanks, i will do it
